One of the main driving focuses for this blog is the ability to showcase different rats that may up come for sale from time to time. I figured there was no better place to start than with the world famous Mecum Auction. Rat Rods don’t usually grace the prestigious stage of the Mecum block, but when one does, you can bet your hamburger buns that it’s going to be a sweet ride.

This 1930 Ford Pickup rat will roll across the auction block in Anaheim, CA in mid November 2014. There’s really no telling how much this rat will bring in, but it is what I like to call “moderately done” What I mean, is that this rat rod truck has all the workings of a driver, that you could actually go pick up the groceries in, if you felt like it. But, there has been enough work done to it, to actually qualify as a rat.
This thing has been chopped, channeled and shortened to give it the current look. And you gotta love the fact that there are no fenders to obstruct those painted wheels. I’m not associated in any way with Mecum, but when you love cars, you share them with others. If you want more info, make sure you go visit their page before November 13, 2014
